CLINIC:  An Introduction to Layout Command Control

DESCRIPTION:  This clinic will introduce LCC, present common use cases, and demonstrate some basic functionality that attendees can then replicate on their layouts.

 

CLINIC:  LCC – What Products Can I Buy?
DAY:  Friday TIME 7:30–8:30pm
ROOM:  Berwyn
DESCRIPTION:  A review of what is currently available in the LCC ecosystem.

 

CLINIC:  ABS Signaling with Layout Command Control
DAY:  Friday TIME 9:00–10:00pm
ROOM:  Berwyn
DESCRIPTION:  This clinic will describe how to implement Automatic Block Signalling on your layout utilizing Layout Command Control. The clinic will cover design, use case discovery, LCC infrastructure, documentation, implementation strategies and process, and testing. This clinic is for all knowledge levels, but attendees with some baseline knowledge of LCC will get the most from it. The described methodology would be useful for other layout control buses, such as CMRI; however this clinic is focused on accomplishing it with LCC.

 

CLINIC:  Special Effect On-Layout Lighting with LCC
DAY:  Saturday TIME 3:00–4:00pm
ROOM:  Radnor
DESCRIPTION:  This clinic will discuss and demonstrate how to utilize LCC to drive on layout lighting features with the added element of time.

 

About the Clinician...

     As the builder of a large signaled layout, now on its second iteration, Rick has been interested in LCC since seeing a demo at the Grand Rapids National Convention in 2012. He has contributed to the community with documentation and some hardware. During the convention, he can normally be found in the SIG room at the LCC table.
