CLINIC: Conrail's Conemaugh Line - Adding Virtual Signals Using JMRI | ||
DAY: Thursday | TIME: 7:00-8:00 PM | ROOM: Wayne |
DESCRIPTION: This clinic will review the conception, construction and operations on the Conemaugh. I will then cover the design and implementation of my "virtual signal" system, built using RR-CirKits Watchman detection devices, JMRI Simple Signal Logic and inexpensive 7" computer tablets. |
About the Clinician... Bob Zeolla and his wife, Bonnie live in West Chester, Pennsylvania. In addition to model railroading, Bob is also an avid skier. He began construction on his model railroad soon after his son left for college and he gained access to his basement. Inspiration for his Conrail Conemaugh Line came from frequent visits as a child to his grandparents' home in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. The railroad has been operational for 8 years. |
