About the Clinician... Ron is combining his long time interests in the PRR and Philadelphia's industrial history in order to create a prototype switching layout set in North Philadelphia circa 1958. To better match the prototype, all the buildings are being scratchbuilt based on historical research. In order to accomplish this goal Ron is exploring various techniques to expedite the scratchbuilding process. He has published some of this work in Railroad Model Craftsman and also the online magazine, The Keystone Modeler. |
